The President also noted that he discussed with the Prime Minister of Canada further defense support for Ukraine, the situation on the battlefield and, in particular, the involvement of North Korean troops in the war. Canada’s military aid to Ukraine – what is known

On August 15, the Ministry of National Defense of Canada announced that Ukraine is allowed to use previously transferred Canadian tanks and armored vehicles on the territory of Russia.

In total, the Canadian army handed Ukraine eight Leopard 2A4 tanks, several dozen armored combat support vehicles and hundreds of armored patrol vehicles, as well as several M-777 howitzers.

On September 2, the Minister of Defense of Canada, Bill Blair, announced that Canada plans to hand over the modern NASAMS medium-range air defense system to Ukraine in early 2025.

On September 6, an official said that the Canadian military will provide the Defense Forces with 80,840 CRV-7 rocket engines and 1,300 warheads.

On October 18, the Reuters agency, citing Bill Blair’s statement, reported that the country agreed to provide Ukraine with a military aid package worth $47 million.
