The Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine approved the project with the Poland Government on Bank Gospodarstwa Krajowego (BGK) in Ukraine.
This was reported by a government representative in the Verkhovna Rada Taras Melnychuk.
According to the agreement, BGK will be able to provide financial and technical assistance to the Government of Ukraine, public and private institutions, as well as organizations. This will include loans, grants, guarantees, export support and other tools that will facilitate the implementation of the country’s restoration and development.
Specific directions and projects will be determined in cooperation between the governments of Ukraine and Poland with BGK. The Polish State Development Bank supports strategically important projects that are not always attractive to commercial banks because of high risks or long payback.
The Verkhovna Rada supported the first reading of the Bill No. 12406, which establishes criminal liability for violation or bypassing economic sanctions.
We have already reported that the Verkhovna Rada supported the first reading of the Compment No. 13266, which provides for the establishment of an institute of the military Ombudsman.
