On Tuesday, January 7, power outages are planned in all regions of Ukraine. Hourly blackout schedules will be in effect throughout the country, and emergency restrictions may also be imposed in some areas.
NEC “Ukrenergo” confirmed the application of restrictions throughout the country.
“On January 7, hourly blackout schedules will be applied in all regions of Ukraine… When electricity appears on schedule, please consume it carefully,” the company urged.
In addition, capacity limitation schedules for industrial consumers continue to apply. The reason for the introduction of blackouts is the consequences of massive Russian missile and drone attacks on Ukraine’s energy infrastructure.
Power outage schedule in Kyiv
On January 7, hourly power outages also continued in Kyiv. Restrictions will apply to all sub-queues, while one of them may be without light for almost 10 hours.
Residents of the capital are urged to familiarize themselves with the current schedules in advance and use electricity rationally.
