One of the teenagers, who appears among other participants in the beating of a 12-year-old girl in Bila Tserkva, was informed of the suspicion of torture and extortion.
This is reported by the Main Directorate of the National Police in the Kyiv region.
It is noted that the suspicion was reported to a 16-year-old boy.
According to the investigation, the accused and other minors gathered in a local park, where they invited the 12-year-old victim.
“Subsequently, in order to intimidate the girl, the suspect threatened and hit her on the head, after which he sprayed a gas canister in her face. At the same time as the physical assault, the suspect put psychological pressure on the victim and demanded money in the amount of 15,000 hryvnias from her,” the police wrote.
The teenager faces 12 years in prison.
In particular, law enforcement officers are investigating criminal proceedings under Art. 125 of the Criminal Code (intentional slight bodily harm) against three other minors.
It should be noted that a few days ago several videos began to spread on the Internet, in which a group of teenagers, including girls, humiliated and beat a girl. In particular, threats could be heard on one of the recordings.
Over the past five years, more than 600 cases of bullying in educational institutions have been opened in Ukraine. Since the beginning of the full-scale invasion, the number of proceedings has been reduced by almost half.
Earlier, an English teacher in the city of Mykolaiv, Lviv Oblast, was fined 850 hryvnias for bullying schoolchildren.
