As part of complex events in the Dnieper and Odessa region, law enforcement officers detained all the suspects during the day. They were three men aged 21 and 22, who were looking for “light” money on Telegram.
“According to the instructions from the curator, one of the defendants – a resident of Pavlograd – made a SVP independently and hid it in a shroud near his own home. It is established that the explosive is filled with nails and nuts to increase the action of the lesion during detonation, ”the SBU writes.
The other two agents – residents of Donetsk region, arrived in the Pavlograd, where they received the coordinates of the hiding place. After they took away the package with the SVP explosives, it was laid near the TCC building. In particular, cameras were installed to fix the effects of the explosion. The explosive was activated by calling a mobile phone.
After the terrorist attack, the hostile agents “lay on the bottom” and expected money from the enemy.
All detainees were notified of suspicion under Part 2 of Art. 258 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine – a terrorist act. They face up to 12 years in prison with confiscation of property.
