US President Joe Biden reacted to Russia’s night air attack on Ukraine by instructing the Pentagon to increase the supply of weapons to our country.

The statement noted that in the early hours of Christmas, Russia launched missile strikes and used drones to attack Ukrainian cities and critical infrastructure. The goal of the aggressor was to deprive Ukrainians of access to heat and electricity during the winter period.
“Let me be clear: the Ukrainian people deserve to live in peace and security. The United States and the international community will continue to support Ukraine until it wins victory over Russian aggression,” Biden emphasized.
The US president also said that hundreds of air defense missiles have been provided to Ukraine in recent months, and even more such deliveries are expected.
“I instructed the Ministry of Defense to continue increasing the volume of arms supplies to Ukraine. The United States is working tirelessly to strengthen Ukraine’s defense capabilities against Russian forces,” he added.
