On January 30, 2026, the Appeals Chamber of the Ukrainian Chamber of Commerce and Industry upheld the verdict of the Higher Anti-Corruption Court of November 27, 2024, by which the judge of the Economic Court of the Kharkiv region was found not guilty of abuse of power under Part 2 of Art. 364 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine.
The court of first instance acquitted the judge due to the lack of evidence of the criminal offense in her actions.
During the review of the appeal, the panel of judges rejected the prosecutor’s complaint. The decision entered into legal force from the moment of its announcement and can be appealed to the Criminal Court of Cassation as part of the Supreme Court.
The Kharkiv Regional Prosecutor’s Office together with the SBI is establishing the circumstances of the traffic accident that occurred on December 18, 2025 at around 3:50 p.m.
