The NABU and SAP have exposed the deputy general director of the Atomenergomash branch of JSC NAEC Energoatom for requesting and receiving an illegal benefit from a representative of the contracting company.

The official asked the representative of the private company for monthly “interest” for ensuring timely payment of the works performed under subcontracts and not hindering the fulfillment of contractual obligations.
“The amount of the “reward” was from 10% to 15% of the cost of the works,” NABU clarified.
In the period from June to November 2025, the employee received an illegal benefit in the total amount of about UAH 1.67 million (equivalent to USD 40,200). The total amount of unlawful benefit that she demanded was more than 6.6 million hryvnias.
The official was detained for receiving an illegal benefit by an official in a particularly large amount.
