In Kharkiv, an 11th-grade student brutally murdered a man in an abandoned building. The court found the teenager guilty and sentenced him to 10 years in prison. The boy admitted his guilt at the trial, but this did not soften the sentence. This is stated in sentence Novobavarsky district court of the city of Kharkiv.
As noted in the verdict, the accused got into the territory of the abandoned house through a hole in the fence. There he met a man who had a drug problem, and out of personal enmity decided to kill him.
To do this, the boy first went to the store and stole a “Belt” rubber-handled nail hammer. Then he returned to the house where the victim spent the night, already with a hammer and a folding knife. He hit the man at least seven times on the head with a hammer, and once on the neck with a knife. After the crime, the teenager ran away from the scene of the crime, but later reported it to his classmates on a social network. The police quickly detained the boy.
At the trial, the teenager fully admitted his guilt. The court qualified his actions as intentional murder with aggravating circumstances. The sentence is 10 years of imprisonment. “The accused committed a crime based on personal animosity towards drug-addicted people, which led to tragic consequences,” the court’s report stated.
