Since the beginning of the day on September 17, 139 combat clashes took place at the front, of which 34 are still ongoing. Russian troops continue to attack the Armed Forces in the direction of Pokrovsky and Kurakhivskyi in the Donetsk region.

Russia launched three missile strikes, using six missiles, and carried out 59 airstrikes, dropping 84 guided bombs (CAB). 494 kamikaze drones were also used for strikes on Ukraine, and 3,338 attacks were carried out using various types of weapons on the positions of our troops and populated areas.
The situation in directions
— Kharkiv direction: Russian forces once tried to storm the positions of the Armed Forces of Ukraine in the Vovchansk region. Ukrainian defenders eliminated and wounded 58 occupiers, destroyed two artillery systems, 44 drones, five cars and one unit of special equipment. Also, five artillery systems, one car and two units of enemy special equipment were damaged.
— Kupyansk direction: The enemy attacked the positions of the Armed Forces near Synkivka, Novoosynovo, Kruglyakivka and other settlements 13 times. Ukrainian forces repulsed 12 attacks, but one combat clash continues.
— Lyman direction: During the day, the enemy attacked Ukrainian troops 12 times in the area of Cherneshchyna, Druzhelyubivka and other settlements. Enemy aviation struck Tverdokhlibovo.
— Seversky direction: The enemy twice tried to dislodge Ukrainian forces from their positions in the Verkhnokamyanskyi and Vyimka areas, but the attacks were repulsed.
— Kramatorsk direction: the Ukrainian Armed Forces repulsed six attacks near Chasovoy Yar, Stupochky, Klishchiivka, and Bila Hora. Eight attacks have been repulsed, one clash is ongoing.
— Toretsk direction: With the support of aviation, the occupiers attacked the positions of the Armed Forces near Shcherbinivka, Toretsk and Nelypivka 14 times, one combat clash is ongoing.
— Pokrovsky direction: The enemy concentrated the main efforts, attacking 34 times near Grodivka, Novotoretskyi, Orlivka and other settlements. 30 attacks repulsed, four clashes ongoing. The enemy lost more than 220 people killed and wounded.
— Kurakhiv direction: the Armed Forces of Ukraine repelled 43 attacks near Tsukuriny, Zhelany Persh and other points, while 11 combat clashes are ongoing.
— Time direction: The enemy tried four times to break through the defense of the Armed Forces near Vugledar, but three attacks were stopped, one clash is ongoing.
— Gulyaipil direction: The enemy launched an air strike on Verbovo with guided air bombs.
— Orihiv direction: Five clashes occurred in the area of Novodanilivka and Shcherbaki, one is ongoing.
— Dnieper direction: Four enemy attacks were repelled, no positions were lost.
