According to the information of the International Atomic Energy Agency, all power units at the Khmelnytskyi, Rivne and South Ukrainian nuclear power plants of Ukraine have restored their full capacity.
This is reported by the International Atomic Energy Agency ( IAEA ).
This became possible after Russian attacks, which previously led to a decrease in electricity production. Currently, only one of the three units is operating at reduced capacity, and all lost power lines have been restored.
The IAEA plans to send a mission to check the condition of important power substations affected by the attacks, as damage to these facilities could significantly affect nuclear safety and the operation of nuclear power plants in Ukraine.
Earlier, on November 20, the Ministry of Energy of Ukraine reported about the forced reduction of the power of nuclear plants due to threats from Russian troops and the need to introduce preventive measures.
The IAEA mission, which arrived at the invitation of Ukraine, began operating at the Chernobyl nuclear power plant.
