The Cabinet of Ministers has approved a new procedure for the formation and use of electronic education documents.
This was reported by a government representative in the Verkhovna Rada Taras Melnychuk.
Now every Ukrainian will be able to access their educational documents – from the certificate to the diploma – directly through the application or portal “Action”. These electronic documents are officially equated with paper analogues and will have the same legal force.
An electronic document is a digital display of a diploma, certificate or other educational document that is automatically created on the basis of data from a single state electronic database (EEBO).
Each document will contain a unique ID-QR code, bar code or digital code. Thanks to this, it will be possible to check the authenticity of the document in seconds, which will greatly simplify the verification procedures for employers, educational institutions and other institutions.
It is important that the innovation is especially relevant for those Ukrainians who, through war with Russia, lost their documents during evacuation or as a result of shelling.
The electronic version makes it possible to quickly confirm the educational level and restore the rights to study or employment, even in the absence of a physical diploma.
This will significantly facilitate the lives of many citizens who are in difficult circumstances through Russian aggression.
Back in March last year, the function of displaying educational documents appeared in the Action. For users, you do not need to add them manually – if education information is available, the documents will automatically be pulled into the application.
We will remind, the Viceremier-Minister for Innovation, Development of Education, Science and Technology-Minister of Digital Transformation of Ukraine Mikhail Fedorov stated that an online examination of the driver’s license may soon appear in the application “Action”. Work is currently underway on digitalization of the Centers of the Main Ministry of Internal Affairs.
We also reported that a new business service appeared on the Action portal. Entrepreneurs will be able to file declarations of compliance with the material and technical base with the requirements of the legislation.
