The largest number of FOPs closed in March (28,690), but spikes in activity were also observed at the end of reporting periods. This is explained by the desire of entrepreneurs to avoid unnecessary tax obligations and to simplify accounting reporting.
At the same time, according to data from Opendatabot, the adoption of the law on tax increases played a significant role in the surge in the closing of FOPs in the fall.
We will remind you that on October 10 of this year, the Verkhovna Rada adopted in the second reading draft law No. 11416-d, which provides for a significant increase in taxes, primarily military levy. On November 28, this document was signed by the President of Ukraine, Volodymyr Zelenskyi.
The law on increasing taxes entered into force on December 1.
