The Prosecutor General’s Office submitted to the Pechersk District Court of Kyiv a resolution on the application of a number of security measures in the case of a People’s Deputy from the banned OPZZH party.

Earlier, the “Anti-Corruption Center” reported that the detained People’s Deputy Fedor Khristenko, who is suspected of cooperation with the FSB, may be offered a plea deal.
The OGP confirmed that the indictment together with such an agreement had already been sent to the court. According to “Suspilny” with reference to the court, the agreement was approved, but its contents are not disclosed.
The prosecutor’s office explained that these agreements cannot be made public, because they contain information related to the security of the suspect and the national security of Ukraine. The resolution provided to the court provides for the restriction of access to information about the date, time and results of the meeting, as well as about the content of the documents submitted to the court.
The OGP also noted that access to the adopted court decision is limited in accordance with the law, so it is impossible to provide more details.
Earlier, the chairman of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of Ukraine Vitaly Shabunin suggested that the agreement may contain data that discredits anti-corruption authorities. The Prosecutor General’s Office denied this, stating that there is no mention of the NABU or SAP leadership in the agreement and that the case is not related to the Midas operation.
The Pechersk District Court of Kyiv approved the plea agreement of People’s Deputy of the People’s Party of Ukraine Fedor Khristenko, who was suspected of treason.
