Law enforcement officers exposed a resident of Odesa region who organized fictitious marriages for servicemen for money and then went abroad with them.

A resident of Odesa region with disabilities of group II repeatedly married servicemen. Those, using the status of a man with disabilities, were dismissed and left abroad. The newlyweds were detained by DBR employees at the checkpoint while trying to go abroad. According to operational data, such a fictitious marriage cost servicemen $ 10,000.
Currently, the couple has been reported suspected of evasion and assistance from military service to the election of a measure of restraint. The sanction of the article provides for a sentence of up to 10 years in prison.
It should be reminded that the DBR exposed the prosecutor of the Cherkasy District Prosecutor’s Office, which with the help of officials of the medical and social expert commission illegally issued a second group of disability and received payment from the state more than 532 thousand UAH.
