Thus, in addition to the EU leadership in the person of the chairman of the Euro Council, the funds and the president of the European Commission Ursula von Der Lyen, as well as the Prime Minister of Spain Pedro Sanchez, no leader has officially confirmed his intention to come to Kiev on February 24. However, according to Politico, the leaders of Lithuania, Latvia, Malta and Canada can visit Ukraine on this day – or they will join virtually to support the support of Kiev.
The President of the European Parliament Robert Metsola will also take part in the event, confirmed her Politico spokesman, but it is not yet known in what format she will be able to do so.
Several people involved in the meeting organization said Politico that they could not disclose the names of the leaders present for safety reasons.
