A new survey showed that in March 2025, only 3% of Ukrainians expect that for US President Donald Trump Ukraine can count on a completely just peace.
This is evidenced by the KIIS survey data.
Another 15% of respondents calculate a just peace, although with the implementation of some of Russia’s concessions, and 21% of Ukrainians believe that peace will be partly fair, partly.
Rather, an unfair peace, although 32% of Ukrainians calculate with some requirements of Ukraine, and 22% of those polled have declared a completely unfair peace.
In December 2024, 31% believed that in Trump, Ukraine could count on rather or completely unfair peace, and in the period on February 14 – March 4, 2025, the proportion of those who spoke of rather or completely unfair peace increased to 58%.
In the period 12-22, 2025, most Ukrainians also express critical considerations-55%.
“If in December 2024 Ukrainians had cautious and even restrained optimistic estimates, then since February 2025 we see their significant deterioration,” sociologists said.
The Kyiv International Institute of Sociology (KIIS) conducted an all-Ukrainian survey during March 12-22, 2025 among 1326 respondents.
It is worth noting that in the main countries of Europe, there was a commitment to the United States after Donald Trump became president.
