“From 2025, the course “Entrepreneurship and financial literacy” will become a mandatory educational discipline for students of grades 8-9 in general secondary education institutions,” the message states.
The agency explained that in order to provide schools with educational materials, a group of authors and experts, which included representatives of the Deposit Guarantee Fund, scientists and teachers from different regions of Ukraine, developed a complete educational and methodological kit.
The kit will include a textbook, a workbook, a teacher’s guide, electronic applications and presentations for lessons.
In addition, within the framework of the project, 96 teachers who will teach the new subject in schools have already been trained.
The Fund added that the relevance of the course is due to the need for high-quality knowledge for students, which will help them navigate the modern financial world and make informed decisions.
