According to the regional authorities, the shelling took place during the day, when the city was living a normal life. A 52-year-old man, who was outside at the time of the attack, was hit by an enemy strike. “About 3:30 p.m., the Russian military shelled Kherson. A 52-year-old man who was on the street was hit by an enemy strike. He received an explosive injury and shrapnel injuries to his legs,” OVA reported.

After the shelling, an ambulance team promptly arrived at the scene. Doctors provided first aid to the victim and took him to the hospital. According to doctors, the man’s condition is currently assessed as moderate. He is under medical supervision.

The Kherson OVA emphasizes that Russian troops continue to shell the city, in particular residential areas and civilian infrastructure. Local residents are urged not to ignore air warning signals and to stay in shelters if possible.
