The Security Service of Ukraine and the Prosecutor’s Office reported the suspicion to Volodymyr Tsiba, the head of the Department of Trade and Life of the Kyiv City State Administration, who hid the corporate rights of an enterprise with a charter capital of four million hryvnias.

“Prosecutors of the Pechersk District Prosecutor’s Office of the city of Kyiv, together with the SBU, exposed and informed the deputy director of the Department – the head of the Department of Trade and Household Affairs of the Department of Industry and Entrepreneurship Development of the KMDA on the suspicion of deliberately entering notoriously unreliable information into the declaration for 2024,” the message reads.
It was established that the official deliberately did not include in the declaration information about the existence of corporate rights of the enterprise, which carries out economic activity in Poland.
The official’s actions are qualified as the intentional entry of false information into the declaration of a person authorized to perform the functions of the state or local self-government, if such information differs from reliable information by the amount of 750 to 2,500 subsistence minimums for able-bodied persons.
At this time, the suspect has already been dismissed from his position. The sanction of the article provides for punishment in the form of a fine, community service or restriction of freedom for a period of up to two years, with deprivation of the right to hold certain positions or engage in certain activities for a period of up to three years.
The pre-trial investigation is being conducted by investigators of the Pechersk Police Department of the National Police State Police in Kyiv under the operational support of the SBU State Security Service in the city of Kyiv and the Kyiv region.
In addition, several current and former officials of the Kyiv City State Administration were informed of the suspicion of embezzlement of budget funds during the repair of Kyrylivska Street in the Podilsky district of Kyiv.
