Among the suspects
- former Deputy Minister of Social Policy;
- Head of the Ministry of Social Policy;
- former deputy chairman of the State Secretariat of Communications;
- owner of a group of companies (scheme organizer);
- His employee, former chairman of the Pension Fund of Ukraine.
In 2020-2021, the owner of a group of companies together with officials of the Ministry of Social Policy, the State Secretariat and the former Pension Fund chairman organized a software procurement scheme at inflated prices. Initially, they stopped already started at the Ministry of Informatization, which spent more than $ 950,000. US to open the way to a controlled company. Then they provided the tender with the conditions that cut off other participants, and attracted another controlled company to create the visibility of competition.
As a result of the Ministry of Social Policy, it concluded an agreement with the “required” supplier, who put the software at an inflated price, which led to losses to the state budget for more than UAH 29 million.
