“It’s a great hit, but let’s be honest: unfortunately, the Russians have quite a large stockpile of ammunition. This is a good start and it is not the first in recent days [успішна] attack. We can clearly track that the Defense Forces of Ukraine in general are currently tracking the vector of hunting for Russian warehouses with ammunition. We have seen the destruction of their serious operational-tactical structure in Mariupol in recent days, now in the Tver region the destruction of this structure. The trend is not bad, let’s hope that it will continue,” the expert emphasized.

Kramarov added that this warehouse was a rather large logistics hub and missiles were stored there, in particular, up to S-300, S-400, RSZV Grad, Korean KN-23, Iskander-M missiles, as well as mines:

“You know, it’s one thing to load one echelon with all types of ammunition in one place and send it into a war zone or into a war zone area, and it’s quite another when you have to use three warehouses to do it.”

On September 18, drones of the SBU, GUR and SSO liquidated a large warehouse of the main missile and artillery department of the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation in Toropka, Tver region. NV was informed about this by informed sources in the SBU.

After the UAV attack, a fire broke out, and the detonation, allegedly of ammunition, began. The governor of the region, Ihor Rudenia, ordered the partial evacuation of local residents.

Eyewitnesses reported large-scale fires, explosions and damage to buildings.

According to data from Volcanodiscovery, earthquakes with a magnitude of up to 2.8 were recorded in Toropka after a UAV attack on a warehouse with Russian missiles.
