The incident happened on October 11 around 5:30 p.m. in one of the residential areas in the village of Lisovy Hrynivtsi (not far from the regional center).
According to the police, a drunken 39-year-old man fired about 3 shots from a crossbow at a passing car from the window of the second floor of a rented house. As a result, the car suffered mechanical damage, there were no casualties.
Police officers arrested the violator, seized the crossbow and sent it for examination.
The shooter was informed of suspicion under Part 4 of Art. 296 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine — hooliganism with the use of firearms or cold weapons or other objects specially adapted or prepared in advance for inflicting bodily harm.
