The total amount of the pledge was UAH 42 million. Earlier, Trukhanov paid UAH 30 million, and after the court’s decision, another UAH 12 million remained to be paid. According to the lawyer, the funds began to be paid immediately after the decision, and the rest of the amount was paid on November 17. More than 25 people joined the fundraising.

The law enforcement officers announced suspicion against nine officials of the Odesa City Council and the utility company due to official negligence, which caused the death of people during the large-scale flood on September 30.
