According to “Scheme” sources in the law enforcement agencies, Fursenko’s bail was posted on November 24, and he was released from custody the next day. His lawyer, Petro Boyko, confirmed this to journalists.
Fursenko was the executive security director of Energoatom and, according to the investigation, performed the duties of the accountant of the “money laundering back office” of Timur Mindich. On NABU tapes, he appears as “Ryoshik”.
The amount of bail, determined by the High Anti-Corruption Court at the time of choosing a preventive measure, amounted to 95 million hryvnias. The money for Fursenko, according to the data received by “Schemes”, was contributed by a private company with an active authorized capital of 100,000 hryvnias – “Varus Synergy”.
The owner of the company is Bohdan Furkevich from Kamianets-Podilskyi. In the Getcontact service, his phone number is signed as “Bohdan Rishalo Vid Andriya”, “Bohdan Police” and “Bohdan Voinkomat Kamianets”. The company was registered in Mariupol in 2019, and in 2022 the legal address was changed to Kyiv. Its main activity is wholesale trade in wood. Furkevich did not answer the journalists’ calls.

The Appellate Chamber of the Higher Anti-Corruption Court confirmed the arrest of Ihor Fursenko in the case of corruption in the energy sector, keeping him in custody until January 8, with the possibility of bail of 95 million UAH.
