In the Lviv region, the court ruled in favor of a 14-year-old schoolgirl who actually grew up without her mother. The girl lived with her grandmother and aunt, who took care of her daily needs and education, while her mother did not take part in her upbringing, did not provide material support and was in constant conflict with the family.

The court recognized that such behavior violates the rights of the child, and made a decision to deprive the mother of parental rights and collect alimony from her. The Starosambir district court of the Lviv region established that the minor child actually lives with the grandmother, and the aunt takes care of upbringing and financial support. The mother does not live with the child, is not interested in his life, education and health, does not provide food and treatment.
The entire family has a strained relationship with the biological mother — the woman commits domestic violence against her aunt and grandmother, and even called the police. She constantly quarrels with her daughter, is not interested in her life, health, eats separately from her daughter and buys things only for herself, and what she once bought for her daughter, she took away. Aunt and grandmother take care of the girl’s needs.
When the child turned 14 and needed to issue a passport, the mother did not want to go with her. And the application had to be submitted by the legal representative of the child. The girl applied for free help with an appeal to the court in connection with the deprivation of her mother’s parental rights. The guardianship body issued a conclusion on the expediency of depriving the mother of parental rights.
