As a result of the public indictment of the prosecutors of the Zaporizhzhya Regional Prosecutor’s Office, in a special trial, guilty verdicts were issued against 7 people who voluntarily cooperated with the enemy.
About this informs Office of the Prosecutor General.
Citizens of Ukraine, who live and carry out “official activities” in the temporarily occupied territories, have been found guilty of occupying positions in illegal “law enforcement bodies”.
Prosecutors proved in court that the convicts acted on behalf of and on behalf of the aggressor state, actually contributing to the establishment and strengthening of the occupying power of the Russian Federation.
The court verdicts imposed a punishment in the form of deprivation of liberty for a term of up to:
15 years – to two persons who held the positions of “senior operational officer” and “deputy head of the criminal investigation department” in the illegal structures of Melitopol and Berdyansk;
14 years – two citizens who worked as “inspectors” and “patrolmen” in the so-called “police department No. 3” in the village of Mykhailivka;
13 years – to two persons who performed the duties of “duty officers” in the pseudo-police in Energodar and Velyka Bilozerka;
12 years old – a citizen who worked as an “inspector” in the city of Dniprorudne.
Also, all convicts were deprived of the right to hold positions in state authorities for a period of 10 to 15 years, and all property was confiscated.
The pre-trial investigation in these criminal proceedings was carried out by the investigators of the SBU Office in the Zaporizhzhia region.
