According to the Office of the Prosecutor General, the Metropolitan-members of the Holy Synod of the Russian Orthodox Church (ROC) in 2022-2024 contributed to the capture of property of Ukrainian churches in temporarily occupied areas of Zaporizhzhya, Luhansk Donetsk and Kherson regions, as well as in the Crimea.
Execution of the decision of the Russian Synod on the “accession” of Ukrainian religious communities to the ROC, they captured the church structures and the land of the Ukrainian dioceses.
