Career Stanislav Artemenko was born in Kramatorsk Donetsk region. After leaving school, Stas entered the local engineering technical school.
The guy started playing with his childhood friend Nikita Trubchanin. At first, the boys became fascinated with parking (physical discipline, which trains overcoming any obstacles on their way, by adapting their movements to the environment), and then by boxing, where Valentina Golovka, a friend, brought Nikita to his coach. Despite the fact that Artemenko got late in the ring, he achieved noticeable success. He won the various tournaments and began to think about the transition to professional boxing.
“The boy was 18 years old, before he was not boxing, but had a very persistent character,” says Valentin Golovko. – He began to do where he lacked combat skills, physical or technical training, he took stubbornness and endurance. One day I brought boxers to Mirgorod for competitions among professionals. He really wanted to get there. I refused, I said, they say, Stas – you are still weak. And so the circumstances were that I was asked for another sportsman. Then I suggested Stas and he went. After the battle, he went out to me with tears: “Training, you made my dream, I boxed with professionals!” Although he lost that battle, but even because of pain, he went to the thought, to the dream – such a character. ”
Stanislav Artemenko and Nikita Trubchanin In the end, training and work in the specialty of Stasov had to put aside and engage in what brings money. The guy was needed because oncology was ill with his mother, whom Stanislav considered the most expensive man in life. The guy went to Kharkiv for earnings. But earning there was far from the money they needed, so Stas began to think about moving abroad: he had to go to England to work in fishing courts. But Nikita Trubchanin advised to stay in Ukraine and try himself in military service, because Stas had a great physical training. In addition, Stas once dreamed of being a border guard, but because of certain health defects – protrusions and hernias from training – he did not get there. At the same time, Stasa Anna’s beloved and another acquaintance offered him to join the Azov ranks.
Combat path and death It happened in 2020. Artemenko impressed in the ranks of one of the most capable military units of Ukraine, where attention was paid to everything from physical training, motivation and understanding of military affairs, to ideology. Nikita recalls that Stas came from the Azov camp is always inspired and very pleased with the fact that he was among those people. There he continued his workout – he was engaged in boxing and running. He dreamed of cure for his mother, marry her beloved Anna and have a baby.
When the Great War began, Stas, which was a sniper, was in Mariupol. Actually, he participated in the heroic defense of the city. He contacted March 14, 2022 with Nikita Trubachin in the last Artemenko.
“Make my mother live,” was the last thing that Stas Nikita said at the end of the conversation.
Then they kept the connection only through the girl Stas. After the command gave the above May 2022 the order to the defenders of “Azovstal” to save their lives, Artemenko with many other Ukrainian warriors was captured, he was in a colony in Olenivka in Donetsk region. Before the katsapi, having transferred about two hundred “Azov” fighters to a separate barrack, they blew it from within. More than 50 Ukrainian defenders, including the Tavriya Simferopol fan, Vladislav Bely, as well as Stanislav Artemenko that night died. However, the death of Stas was confirmed only after September 21, 2022, when the commander of the units located at Azovstal was released on Medvedchuk.
“The day before I had a dream: my father -in -law and Stas are sitting in some hangar. The father -in -law looks straight, and Stas looks at him and somehow touches her foot, as if he were scratching her. My father -in -law – the military – died the next day after bedtime. And every other day, when I was going to his burial, Stas died. ”
Then it turned out that on May 11, five days before captivity, Artemenko was injured in the leg….
Stas’s body residues were only returned in the summer of 2023, almost a year after his death, June 23. Together with his brothers, he is buried in Kiev, in the Berkovetsky cemetery.
