We bow our heads. A year ago in the war the champion of Ukraine, the chieftain boxer

Denis Yashchuk has a son”, – WRITE: Sport.ua

Every day at 9 am, Ukrainians honored the memory of people whose lives took away the Russian-Ukrainian war. Today Sport.ua recalls the former collection of Ukraine from boxing, a representative of “Ukrainian Atamans” Denis Yashchuk, who defended Ukraine in the ranks of defense forces and gave life for his homeland a year ago, in August 2024.

Denis Yashchuk was born in Netishin in Khmelnytskyi. There, at the Maxim boxing club, the guy started boxing. Representing a light weight category (up to 52 kg), Yashchuk was the champion and winner of the Ukrainian Championships, representing the country in the international stage, was the winner of the European Championship.

Denis Yashchuk (in blue) The guy graduated from Pereyaslav-Khmelnitsky Pedagogical University named after Grigory Skovoroda and studied at the Brovarsky Higher School of Physical Culture. In the all -Ukrainian arena he performed for the Kyiv region.

Denis and World Champion among professionals Yuri Nuzhnenko In 2012, Denis advocated Ukrainian Atamans in World Series Boxing (WSB), for which he boxed near the connoisseur of the talent of Moscow Popi Vasyl Lomachenko. We will remind that Denis Yashchuk is not the only ex-representative of “Atamans” who gave life for Ukraine during a full-scale war.

The circumstances and the exact date of Denis’s death remain unknown to this day.

Denis has a son who, unfortunately, grows without his father.
