Waiting for megafights? Turki Al-Sheikh is negotiating with the best boxers

Head of Riyadh Season and new owner of The Ring Turki Al-Sheikh promised to prepare “the most extensive schedule for a year in the history of boxing.”

The Ring publication confirmed that the official is in talks with representatives of the royal family about holding interesting fights this year.

A quartet of Ring champions – Saul Alvarez, Teofimo Lopez, Naoya Inoue and Jay Opetaia – are among the sixteen fighters in direct talks with Al Sheikh, the head of Saudi Arabia’s General Directorate of Entertainment. The events will be held as part of a joint project between Ring magazine and SNK Corporation.

“These boxers will fight in Ring Magazine’s first world tournaments in 2025, which will be named after the new game Fatal Fury: City of the Wolves,” Ring Magazine announced on its social media.
