Ukrainian super heavyweight Oleksandr Usyk is no longer the absolute heavyweight champion of the world.

The boxer informed the World Boxing Organization (WBO) that after a detailed analysis of the situation, he decided to voluntarily relinquish his title.

According to The Standard, the Ukrainian’s next mandatory opponent should be Agit Kabael, but Usyk is unlikely to agree to this fight due to the low media and financial attractiveness of the fight. Journalists note that currently only two opponents in boxing can interest Alexander – Tyson Fury and Anthony Joshua, whom he has already defeated twice.

They also do not exclude the possibility of a fight against Jake Paul – but already according to the rules of MMA.

Earlier, the head of Saudi Arabia’s General Directorate of Entertainment, Turki Al-Sheikh, announced the return of former world champion Tyson Fury and hinted at a trilogy against Oleksandr Usyk.
