The Ukrainian boxer met in the ring for the second time Oleksandr Usyk (23–0, 14 KO) and BritishTyson Fury (34–2–1, 24 KOs).

It was a rematch for the WBC, WBA, WBO (as well as IBO) world heavyweight title. Oleksandr Usyk managed to defend the titles, won the triumph by a unanimous decision of the judges – 116-112, 116-112, 116-112!
After the fight, both athletes were suspended from boxing by the World Boxing Council for 36 days. The WBC banned boxers from returning to the ring to prevent possible risks to their health.
