“Ibeabuchi wants a fight with the Ukrainian”, — write: sport.ua
Former heavyweight contender Ike Ibeabuchi loudly appealed to Oleksandr Usyk, urging the Ukrainian champion to fight in Kyiv in 2026. The Nigerian does not hide his ambitions and made a series of harsh statements against the WBC, WBA and IBF title holder.
“You are an absolute champion and champion of Ukraine. Fight with me in Kyiv in 2026. The world wants to see if my old flame really is back.
I’ll knock you out, Usyka, just like Foreman knocked out Moorer. My power is not gone, it travels with me all over the world,” said Ike.
Usyk currently plans to return to the ring in 2026, but his priority remains a possible fight against Deontay Wilder.
