“Oleksandr regained the first step”, — write: sport.ua
The Ring magazine published an updated ranking of the world’s best boxers regardless of weight category. WBC, WBA and IBF champion Oleksandr Usyk rose to the top spot after American Terence Crawford announced his retirement.
The Ukrainian boxer promptly reacted to his return to the top of the rating. Usyk published a story on his Instagram.
“Where he belongs,” Usyk said in the message.
Previously, the WBC, WBA and IBF heavyweight title holder (over 90.7 kg) Oleksandr Usyk (24–0, 15 KOs) talked about his plans and admitted when he intends to end his professional career. The boxer recently made the WBO title vacant and lost the status of absolute world champion.
