Former absolute world champion Oleksandr Usyk shared his impressions of visiting the WBC convention in Thailand.
“My Ready to Fight team and I were really excited to be in Bangkok and participate in the 63rd WBC Boxing Convention and the first WBC Muay Thai Convention.
I would like to express my sincere thanks to WBC President Mauricio Suleiman and WBC Muay Thai President Thanapol Bhakdibhumi for organizing such a high level event.
We had official meetings with representatives of the government of the Kingdom of Thailand and the leadership of the city of Bangkok, where we discussed the development of sports and opportunities for cooperation between Thailand and Ukraine to strengthen international ties and partnerships.
It was a wonderful visit and an extremely fruitful working trip. A beautiful country, incredible people — we return with the warmest impressions and sincere love,” Usyk noted.
