“Unfair.” The legendary Lewis appreciated Usyk’s refusal of the IBF belt

Legendary boxer Lennox Lewis spoke about the refusal of the Ukrainian Oleksandr Usyk (22-0, 14 KOs) from the IBF belt:

“I was in the same situation. You box one guy, then you take a break for a minute, and 4 guys say, “You have to fight me,” and you can only fight one at a time.

And if you don’t fight him, the belt will suddenly be taken away from you. I don’t think it’s fair. But it happens.”

We will remind, after Usyk vacated the title of IBF world champion, Daniel Dubois received this status.
