On Wednesday, December 17, a middleweight fight (up to 72.6) took place at the TikTok Entertainment Center arena in Sydney, Australia. Former world champion, Australian Tim Tzu (25–3, 18 KOs) entered the ring against an opponent from the USA – Anthony Velasquez (18–0–1, 15 KOs).

From the first seconds, Tsiu seized control in the center of the ring and began to methodically break down his opponent using jabs. The local boxer moved perfectly on his feet, worked confidently in defense.

Velasquez tried to impose a fight at close range, but was seriously inferior in speed and maneuverability. The American often missed, missed a lot, so hematomas quickly appeared on his face.

Tim continued to box calmly, measuredly and coolly. He almost knocked out Anthony in the sixth round – he smashed his opponent’s face, but the doctor examined the American and allowed the fight to continue.

The result of the fight is a crushing victory for Tim Tsiu, who successfully held his first fight under the leadership of the legendary trainer Pedro Diaz.

Tim Tzu (Australia) – Anthony Velasquez (USA) – UD 10 (100–90, 100–90, 100–90)
