“The Mexican boxer won a difficult victory by a unanimous decision of judges”, – WRITE: Sport.ua
In the second most important event, representatives of the Cruiserweit came together – the winner of WBA and WBO titles Hilberto Ramirez (47–1, 30 KO, Mexico) and Cuban Unioles Dorticos (27–2, 25 KO).
The duel went through the distance and ended with the victory of an experienced Mexican, but during the fight, the champion repeatedly had problems. Ramirez missed unnecessary blows and took a power box from the opponent, in which episodes looked worse.
In the second half of the battle, Hilberto acted much more confidently, decided to box more carefully and repeatedly worried the tired rival with dangerous combinations. Dorticos fought competitively, but he was not enough for the whole distance. The applicant was fined for a blow below the belt, but it did not actually affect the overall account.
According to the results of 12 rounds, the judges recorded a fair but difficult victory of Ramirez, who defended the titles of the World Champion.
