The World Boxing Council (WBC) has updated the ratings in all weight categories – boxers from Ukraine have also learned their positions. Representative of the welterweight division (up to 66.7 kg) Karen Chukhajian (26–3, 13 KOs) made an impressive surge and rose from 16th to 12th.

The last time the Ukrainian boxer entered the ring was on October 11, when he knocked out the Argentinian Joel Marcus Mafaud in the first round and won the WBO International and IBF International titles.

Serhii Bogachuk (26–3, 24 KOs), who competes in the first middleweight division (up to 69.9 kg), has overtaken one opponent and is now ranked seventh.

The representative of the light heavyweight category, former world champion Oleksandr Gvozdyk (21–2, 18 KOs), continues to hold the third place, which allows him to be in the cohort of contenders for the WBC title.

Among Ukrainian boxers, only super heavyweight Oleksandr Hrytsiv failed to improve his place in the ranking – he dropped from ninth to tenth position.
