Ukrainian champion Oleksandr Usyk visited the annual convention of the World Boxing Council (WBC).
The 63rd WBC Convention runs from November 30 to December 5, 2025 in Bangkok, at the Marriott Marquis Queens Park Hotel.
The organization’s press service emphasized the historical significance of Usyk’s achievements in world boxing.
“One of the best heavyweights of our time attended our convention in Thailand. Play chess, not checkers,” the WBC said.
Previously, the WBC, WBA and IBF heavyweight title holder (over 90.7 kg) Oleksandr Usyk (24–0, 15 KOs) talked about his plans and admitted when he intends to end his professional career. The boxer recently made the WBO title vacant and lost the status of absolute world champion.
