Heavyweight champion of Europe according to the EBU version Oleksandr Zahozhiy (19-0, 15 KOs) will defend his title on November 23 in Germany.

The Ukrainian boxer learned the name of his new opponent only a few days before the fight. The fact is that initially Zahozhy’s opponent was Arnold Djerjei (38-3, 27 KOs) from Switzerland, but he was injured and will not be able to enter the ring.

Alexander’s new opponent was 31-year-old Labinot Djozhai (19-0-1, 16 KOs), who plays for Kosovo.

The Ukrainian boxer lives and trains in Germany. He held his last fight in March 2024 – he knocked out the German Granit Shala (16-1, 6 KOs) and won the vacant championship title.
