Manager of the legendary British boxer Ricky Hutton Paul Speak told how he found him dead in his own house.
“The light in the house was not on, which seemed strange to me. I thought he just overslept – it happens. I had a key, so I went in and yelled, “Rick, wake up!”. Heard music from the second floor. Got up… and it took me a while to figure out what happened. I was in shock. Then he called an ambulance and the police. It was confirmed to me that he hanged himself,” said Speak.
During his boxing career, Hatton won several championship belts and was named Boxer of the Year in 2015.
The last fight was against the Ukrainian Vyacheslav Senchenko, who knocked out Hutton in the 9th round.
