The WBC Silver title holder, former world champion in two divisions, will enter the ring Lawrence Okolie (22–1, 16 KOs) – the Briton’s opponent will be determined later.
In addition, another well-known super heavyweight, David Adeleye (14–2, 13 KOs), will hold his match. The name of his opponent will be announced later.
The tournament will be organized by Frank Warren’s Queensberry Promotions, Ezekiel Adamu’s Balmoral Group Promotions and Amir Khan’s promotion company.
Okoli had two fights in super heavyweight. He last entered the ring on the night of July 20, when he defeated South African Kevin Lerena by unanimous decision and won the WBC Silver title.
