According to the Ogun State authorities, the athlete and another passenger who survived were rushed to a specialized clinic in Lagos. After the examination, the doctors confirmed that their lives are not in danger and there is no need for immediate intervention.
Joshua is conscious and has already managed to contact his family. The accident occurred due to speeding: a Lexus crashed into a truck. Unfortunately, two of the boxer’s trainers died.
