In Great Britain, the cause of death of the famous former boxer Ricky Hatton, who was found dead in his home in September, has been revealed.
It is reported that the cause of death was suicide – 47-year-old Hutton hanged himself. He was found in his bedroom by his friend and longtime manager Paul Speak. Earlier, the police had already announced that the death was not suspicious and did not require an investigation.
Hutton’s family said he “appeared healthy and fit” two days before his death.
During his 15-year career, Hatton won several lightweight and welterweight championships.
The fights against Floyd Mayweather and Manny Pacquiao (two defeats) and the victory over Kostya Tsiu are considered striking.
