Former boxer Yehor Mehontsevwho in 2009 became the last athlete to win Oleksandr Usyk in the amateurs, made a sharp criticism of the Ukrainian.

“In the fight with me, he constantly fell, as if I hit below the belt, although the blows went to the body. At the same time, he grabbed the forbidden places for strikes. In our country, this is considered inappropriate behavior. This is his habit. It’s just a shame for us,” Mehontsev said.

Earlier, WBC, WBA and IBF heavyweight champion Oleksandr Usyk said that he was always ready for fights with Anthony Joshua and Tyson Fury. The boxer has been preparing for these fights for 10-11 years.
