“Christian Mbilly won the WBC temporary title in a duel against Macieus Suletsky”, – WRITE: Sport.ua
The main event of the show was the battle for the vacant title of the Temporary World Champion by WBC in the second average weight (up to 76.2 kg). They met in the ring Christian Mbilly (28–0, 23 KOs) from France and a representative of Poland Macey Suletsky (33-3, 13 KO).
The match ended in the first round – Suletsky did not have time for the opponent and missed everything that was flying in his direction. Mbilli completely controlled the course of the battle, caught the Pole with an apkot, and forced the referee to stop the fight.
Mbilli has become a temporary world champion and now claims to fight with Mexican Saul Alvarez, who has four titles in the division. However, for starters, Kanelo should deal with the Croufford Terens – their battle is scheduled for September.
It is worth noting that Mbilly met with Ukrainian Sergey Derevyanchenko in August last year and defeated the judges’ unanimous decision.
