“She’s gone.” The former world champion from Ukraine admitted that he decided to change the team

Oleksandr Gvozdyk talked about future plans in the professional ring”, β€” write: sport.ua

Former WBC light heavyweight world champion (up to 79.9 kg) Oleksandr Gvozdyk (20–2, 16 KO) talked about the fact that he decided to change his team and shared his thoughts on the reasons for such an act:

– Tell us about the new team?

– She is not there yet. We communicate with many people. Let’s see how it will be.

– Why did you decide to change the team?

– Because it is necessary to move forward. It may happen that I will stay with the old team. The question is still open. There are people who promise us good prospects, but in order for me to go to them, I need to understand that these prospects are not in the air, so they must be written down on paper. We are working in this direction, it does not happen in one day.

In the last match, Oleksandr Gvozdyk lost to the American David Benavides by decision of the judges (June 15, 2024). Earlier, the ex-champion spoke about the plans of compatriot Oleksandr Usyk.
