“Recreation Week”. Usik confessed which fight with Fury was much more difficult

World Champion in Squad Weight Weight, WBC, WBO and WBA titles Alexander Usik commented on his confrontation with British contender Tyson Fury:

– In December you brought home victory from Saudi Arabia. How did you feel after this battle?

– felt normal. For me, the first battle was much more difficult than the second. Then, through the transfer, we made two training camps. At first three months of preparation, then only a week of rest and again three months in the hall. This time it was easier because I spent four months at a camp just before the fight with Fury, – said Usik.

The Ukrainian boxer defeated Tyson twice in 2024 – in May he won a separate decision, and in December the judge recorded a unanimous victory.

Earlier it was reported that in Saudi Arabia a fight for the title of lightweight champion was thwarted.
